A 2-way solenoid valve
is an electrically controlled valve used to regulate the flow of liquid or gas through a pipeline. It is a type of solenoid valve that has two ports: an inlet port and an outlet port. When energized, the valve opens to allow fluid or gas to flow through the valve. When de-energized, the valve closes to stop the flow.
The working principle of a 2-way solenoid valve is simple. The valve consists of a coil and a plunger assembly. The coil is energized by an electric current, which generates a magnetic field that attracts the plunger. When the plunger is attracted to the coil, it opens the valve, allowing the fluid or gas to flow through the valve. When the current is turned off, the magnetic field disappears, and the plunger is released, causing the valve to close.
The two ports of the valve are connected to the pipeline, and the direction of the flow can be controlled by the position of the valve. When the valve is open, the fluid or gas flows in one direction from the inlet port to the outlet port. When the valve is closed, the flow is stopped.

Water Treatment: 2-way solenoid valves are used in water treatment systems to control the flow of water through the system. They are also used in swimming pool systems to control the flow of water and chemicals.
